"Mia Hansen-Løve is one of the most creative filmmakers of the 2010s and 2020s, responsible for productions like La Isla de Bergman. She is a director who knows how to play with the script, mixing literature with film, and providing the right amount of emotion. This is also true for Una Linda Mañana, a French production that follows the story of a young woman (Léa Seydoux) living with her eight-year-old daughter while taking care of her father, who suffers from a neurodegenerative disease. At this moment she experiences various emotions in her life: seeking an appropriate home for elderly adults, taking care of her daughter and even finding space to love. Although it is less inventive than La Isla de Bergman, Hansen-Løve demonstrates her creativity and skill in telling human stories, going through different emotions."
