"One of Disney's classics adapted from the well-known Brothers Grimm fairy tale, published in 1812, which was based on two other stories from the 1600s. It is important to note that due to its age, the female role has become a target of criticism today. In most fairy tales, the goal of the protagonists is to find love. The cartoon gave rise to one of the most memorable villains, Maleficent, who is so interesting that she even got two solo films also by the Mickey Mouse studio. 'Sleeping Beauty' has an impeccable soundtrack, which was nominated for a Grammy and an Oscar for best music - composer George Bruns, Tchaikovsky's 'Sleeping Beauty' ballet. The animation was the last fairy tale produced by Walt Disney and marked the end of the studio's Golden Age in 1959."
